Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas season. My parents did the 12 Days of Christmas for us as well as Jesse & Annie and Jenn & Brad. It was so nice of them. Let's see how much of what we got I remember! We got a cute Christmas tree advent calendar my mom made, a kitchen towel, the original Grinch movie, a small nativity, Rummy Cube, temple mints, a "Families are Forever" clock, snickers candy bars, a book called "The Last Straw", a sugar cookie recipe with frosting and a cookie cutter, & the "Pass of all Passes" as the final gift on Christmas day. Okay, so that wasn't all of them. I'm missing 2. I did pretty good though! That's going to bug me now. Each gift even had a little poem that went with it. Ethen was so excited to open the gifts & we were too! It was fun. We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house. We had a program, a nice candlelight dinner, decorated sugar cookies, and watched "Elf". For Christmas, we had yummy sticky buns for breakfast, went to sacrament meeting & Jake and Ethen both sang in the choir (& did a good job!), then we went down to Jake's sister Susan's house and played games, and on the way home we stopped by at my Grandma Ellsworth's house. Ethen's big toy from Santa Clause was cool Hot Wheels race tracks! We were blessed to have a good Christmas. There's so much to be grateful for!
